NMS & HIBBS Building Supplies at the New Forest Show

Working in conjunction with Lime Tree Communications, a creative communications and public relations agency based in Bournemouth, we were asked to design a product catalogue and branding graphics for HIBBS, a building supplies business part of the New Milton Sand & Ballast (NMS) group of companies based in New Milton, Hampshire.

NMS are a large family group which prides itself in providing a quality level of service to the local community. The company has existed since 1936 supplying building materials and services in the Hampshire and East Dorset area. The business operates a long term relationship with customers, stakeholders and the community as a whole, based on environmental, safety and quality systems.

NMS wanted to promote HIBBS and build more awareness within the local community, so having a stand at the New Forest Show it was decided would significantly raise their profile. During the first stage design process we created a comprehensive photographic shot list and shot a new library of bespoke imagery illustrating sections and products within the catalogue. HIBBS wanted their customers to be able to thumb through the catalogue with ease so we kept the design super simple, with clean layouts and used bright colouring to illustrate the different sections.

NMS were so happy with their new library of HIBBS images that we were briefed to shoot the other businesses within the group. It was decided that alongside promoting HIBBS they would also build more awareness of the NMS Group too, and briefed us to re-design their corporate brochure to give out alongside the product catalogue.

The show was a resounding success with HIBBS becoming more of a go-to provider of building supplies within the surrounding area.
